The Nelson Worley Board Room is named after Nelson Worley, the first director of the Appomattox Regional Library System. The room has lots of natural light and is located on our second floor. There is an elevator available. The room hosts a large conference style table and various equipment. There is a sink and small counter available. Please note all restrooms are on the first floor.
Equipment
This room comes equipped with a 65" flat screen tv on a cart so it can be moved around the room. A library laptop is available to connect to the tv for presentations, or patrons are welcome to bring their own. Library staff cannot guarantee we will have the correct cables to connect your laptop to the tv, but we will try. The tv has HDMI connections. There is also a wall-mounted whiteboard in the room. Please ask staff for fresh dry-erase markers.
Seating
This room featurs a large board style table with seating for 16. There is no extra seating, but there is standing room. Please do not move the tables and chairs in this room.
