Discover Your Family History!  Join us for a free, hands-on Genealogy Workshop with Viola Baskerville of the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society (Richmond Chapter). Learn how to trace your roots, organize your research, and begin documenting your family story. Registration required. Bring a notebook or a laptop if you have one.
 

Before the Workshop

This session includes a small amount of preparation to help you get the most from the experience. Please complete these steps before attending:

 Create a free account at FamilySearch.org

 Download the AAHGS genealogy forms:

Talk with your family members and begin filling out the forms with what you already know.
