Tuesday- 10/29 at 6:00 pm- "Unveiled from Muddy Waters: Maritime Archaeology" From the Battle of Yorktown to the Siege of Petersburg and the building of modern Richmond maritime networks have continuously defined the region. Join State Underwater Archaeologist Brendan Burke, of the Virginia Department of Historic Resources, to learn about recent projects exploring and documenting submerged cultural heritage in Central Virginia. Presentation is at the Appomattox Regional Library in Hopewell.
