Join us for the Bagful of Books Sale, happening at the end of National Friends of Libraries Week. Hosted by the Friends of the Hopewell - Prince George Libraries, a non-profit organization committed to enhancing and advocating for The Appomattox Regional Library System. Get a bagful of books for $2. Whether you're on the hunt for a timeless classic, an enthralling mystery, or educational materials, our sale has something to offer everyone. Bring along your standard-sized plastic grocery bags or reusable totes to carry away your literary treasures. Additionally, plastic grocery bags will be provided on-site while stocks last, so you can gather as many as you need. Keep in mind that children's books are in limited supply, so arriving early is advisable. While volunteers will strive to categorize books by genre and author beforehand, the sorting is general, adding an element of excitement as you explore to uncover hidden gems. Interested in joining our team of volunteers to help set up the book sale? Reach out to Megan Ranes at mranes@arls.org for more information.
