Event Details

Join us for a special presentation by author and historian William Geroux as he discusses his latest book, "The Fifteen: Murder, Retribution, and the Forgotten Story of Nazi POWs in America". Geroux sheds light on a little-known chapter of World War II history: the experience of nearly 400,000 German prisoners of war held in the United States.

Attendees may bring their own lunches, and food will be available for purchase from the American Legion. The library will record the presentation and have it available on its YouTube channel for later viewing.

The program is sponsored by the Historic Hopewell Foundation. Look for a list of the Foundation's presenters for its summer Lunch & Learn series in the next Explore.
