Join us for a special evening of creativity and community at the Prince George Library! The Hopewell-Prince George Friends of the Library proudly present the quarterly Poetry, Prose, and Pizza event on Thursday, July 17th, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Hosted by acclaimed performance poet, published author, and Frederick Douglass historian Nathan Richardson, this family-friendly literary open mic welcomes all voices—whether you’re a seasoned writer or simply have a story to share. Enjoy complimentary pizza at 5:30 PM, then step up to the mic starting at 6:00 PM to share your poetry or prose in a supportive and inspiring space. It’s a fun and meaningful evening that’s well worth the drive to Prince George—hope to see you there!
