This is the largest room at our Prince George Library and is very similar in size to the Hopewell Library’s HMA Room, it fits anywhere from five to ninety people. The room includes a kitchenette with sink and mini-fridge. The walls of the large room host changing art displays as part of the Community Art Gallery. Electronic blinds can be deployed to cover the windows when using the projector.
Equipment
The Large Room has a mounted projector with built in sound system and wall mounted screen. A library laptop is available to connect to the projector, or staff can provide a few types of cables to connect a personal laptop. Be aware with changing technology, we may not be able to provide cables for every style of connection. A microphone, white board, or podium are also available.
Seating
Library staff do not provide set-up for rooms. There are rectangular tables and chairs for forty in the room. Most often they are set-up in rows, but if a group has the space before you booked the tables could be in any position. Please make your reservation to include set-up time if you need a specific configuration. You will not be allowed into the library before the building is open to set up your room.
