Reserve a Room (by room)

The Atkins Study Room has seating for 4 around a large table and floor to ceiling windows.

The Octagon is located in the back of the building. It has beautiful natural light, with fully equipped black out blinds. The tables and chairs in this room offer a lot of flexibility. It is a medium sized room hosting ten to twenty-five people comfortably.

The Friends of the Library Study Room, often called the Friends Room, is our smallest room in the library system. It seats two to three people around one table.

The Hopewell Manufacturing Association Room, often called out HMA room, is the largest meeting room available at the Hopewell Library. It has flexible tables and chairs for forty and standing room for ninety to one hundred. There is a small counter with faucet and sink.

The Nelson Worley Board Room is named after Nelson Worley, the first director of the Appomattox Regional Library System. The room has lots of natural light and is located on our second floor. There is an elevator available. The room hosts a large conference style table and various equipment. There is a sink and small counter available. Please note all restrooms are on the first floor.

The NonProfit Resource Room is our largest study room. This room features two walls of windows looking out into the library and outside.

Room C hosts a round table with comfortable padded chairs. It is the smallest of the three rooms at McKenney.

Room A is the largest room in the McKenney Library. It seats as many as 15 people with flexible seating and tables. It is located near the checkout desk.

Room B is a conference style room with a large table and comfortable chairs wheeled chairs. 

The Small Meeting Room is one of two rooms at the Prince George Library. Located near the building entrance the room has one wall with floor-to-ceiling windows creating a nice atmosphere with good light.

This is the largest room at our Prince George Library and is very similar in size to the Hopewell Library’s HMA Room, it fits anywhere from five to ninety people. The room includes a kitchenette with sink and mini-fridge. The walls of the large room host changing art displays as part of the Community Art Gallery. Electronic blinds can be deployed to cover the windows when using the projector.
