Join the Virginia Cooperative Extension for a fun and refreshing Summer Wellness Series designed to help you feel your best all season long! Each week features a new theme focused on simple, practical ways to nourish your body, stay active, and support your overall well-being. A Tanita scale will be available for those who’d like to track their progress each week—but participation is always welcome, with or without weighing in. Enjoy infused water at every session featuring a new recipe each week, plus smoothies during our first class to kick things off!
Week 1 – Nourish to Flourish: Learn how to stay
hydrated and eat well using summer produce, MyPlate, and fun recipes like infused waters and smoothies.
Week 2 – Move Your Way: Discover fun, functional fitness ideas that fit into your daily life, including resistance bands and strategies to move your way.
Week 3 – Protect & Pamper: Explore ways to care for your skin, stay safe in the sun, and learn evidence-based benefits of sleep.
Week 4 – Thrive Beyond Summer: Prepare for
continued success with goal-setting tools, learn the power of mindfulness, and create a vision board for future goals.
